Journal of Islamic, Society and Sustainable Development (JISSD) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of Islamic studies, social transformation, and sustainable development. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore how Islamic values, institutions, and perspectives contribute to addressing contemporary social, economic, environmental, cultural, and developmental challenges.

JISSD publishes original research articles, review articles, conceptual papers, and case studies that examine the role of Islam in promoting inclusive development, social justice, community empowerment, environmental stewardship, ethical governance, and sustainable livelihoods. The journal encourages critical and empirical investigations that integrate Islamic thought with contemporary theories and practices in the social sciences, development studies, public policy, economics, education, sociology, environmental studies, and related disciplines.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, Islamic social thought, sustainable development goals (SDGs), Islamic economics and finance, community development, social welfare, poverty alleviation, environmental sustainability, Islamic education, governance and public administration, gender and family studies, social innovation, humanitarian action, digital transformation in Muslim societies, and the role of religious institutions in development processes.
