This study aims to analyze the effect of broiler chicken management practices on livestock productivity and mortality rates. Proper management practices are essential factors in improving broiler growth performance and reducing mortality during the rearing period. The research was conducted at a broiler chicken farm using a quantitative descriptive method. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and systematic recording of several management aspects, including feeding practices, cage sanitation, stocking density, environmental temperature, and livestock health programs. The findings indicate that the implementation of optimal management practices has a positive effect on improving broiler productivity. This is reflected in the increase in average body weight, improved feed conversion efficiency, and reduced mortality rates. Cage sanitation and temperature regulation were identified as the most dominant factors influencing the health and growth performance of broiler chickens. In addition, feed provision that meets the nutritional requirements of broilers contributed significantly to accelerated growth and enhanced production quality. The low mortality rate observed in farms with proper management practices demonstrates that disease control and environmental hygiene play crucial roles in the success of broiler farming operations. Therefore, the implementation of appropriate management strategies can improve livestock productivity while minimizing economic losses caused by chicken mortality. This study is expected to serve as a reference for farmers in enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of broiler farming enterprises.
