Journal of Animal Science and Livestock Production (JASLP) is a peer reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high quality research in the fields of animal science, livestock management, and sustainable animal production systems. The journal serves as an international platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and industry professionals to disseminate original findings, theoretical developments, and applied innovations that contribute to the advancement of animal agriculture and livestock productivity.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, and case studies covering a wide range of topics related to animal production and husbandry. Areas of interest include animal nutrition, feed technology, breeding and genetics, reproduction, physiology, animal health, livestock biotechnology, welfare and behavior, pasture and forage science, sustainable farming systems, precision livestock farming, meat and dairy science, poultry science, aquaculture, socio economic aspects of livestock development, and environmental management in animal production.

The manuscript must be original research, written in English or Indonesian, and not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
